The Plastuni Lisses factory has been awarded the Flexostar Gold Medal prize for 2017, for its work on the laminated “Body Shop Hand Cream” tube, which was picked out by the French Technical Association for Flexographic Printing (Association Technique Française de Flexographie; ATF-Flexo) within the category covering Complex Film printing using UV inks.
Somater’s expertise in the field of the decoration of packaging, using flexographic techniques, has provided The Body Shop, with the results they were hoping for, both in terms of technical aspects and aesthetic appearance; the ability to reproduce the process; the aluminium colouring and the fidelity to the original design documentation.
As part of its backup solutions security plan (BCP) and to meet the growing needs of a strategic customer, Somater Marolles has integrated its first bi-axial injection stretch blow moulding line.

Within the framework of their European contest, Miller Graphics Group and the magazine Nord Emballage, the packaging industry magazine in the north, awarded Plastuni Lisses with the Prix d’Excellence for flexographic printing the “Flexible Film Metallised Lamination” category for the decoration of The Body Shop Hemp 30ML.
For the 10th anniversary of the takeover of Plastuni Normandie, Somater commissioned a film to celebrate the occasion from the agency bb&b. The film was unveiled at an exceptional event dedicated to the staff. A surprise full of emotion!
Innovative capacity and technical expertise enabled Somater to deliver a new PS film to Uniflockage, with whom we have a long-standing partnership. This film is the basis of the new thermoformable plastic material SO.TOUCH© PS “with the sensual, modern feel”.
Bristol-Myers Squibb Laboratories received the Pharmapack Award 2009 in the category “Safety of use”. They insisted on sharing the congratulations with their two preferential partners for the production of this new packaging, including Somater for the offset decorated tube.
