Supporting our industry, the engine of our economy

In this ‘semaine de l’industrie’, it’s essential to stress the need to strengthen the link between the younger generation and industry, a key driver of our economy, competitiveness and prosperity.

Somater, a European player in the packaging sector, regularly visits schools and training organizations to introduce young people to our activities, skills and know-how. In this way, we raise young people’s awareness of the opportunities that a fast-changing sector can offer them.

We are proud of the contribution made by our Theix plant to the Lycée Berthelot in Questembert, to whom we entrusted injection molds and different types of polymers to help train students.
