At Somater, our commitment to the environment is reflected in our more responsible industrial production, focused on reducing our energy consumption.

We are proud to announce the renewal of our machine fleet with the integration of state-of-the-art equipment, a major step forward in our environmental approach.

These new facilities enable us to significantly reduce our energy consumption while guaranteeing a high level of performance and quality at our production sites. Our Somater Coutras site is a prime example: replacing old hydraulic presses with new-generation, 100% electric models has reduced our production-related energy consumption by up to 75%.

This is a key step in our commitment to limiting our carbon footprint and actively participating in the decarbonization of our industry. Somater is therefore continuing on its path towards a 25% reduction in CO₂ emissions.
