World Environment Day: Somater is accelerating its decarbonisation journey!
On the occasion of World Environment Day, we are highlighting a concrete initiative undertaken by the Belgian plant Plastuni Operations NV.
The site recently installed 4,500 m² of solar panels on its roof, in order to locally produce part of the electricity required for its operations.
This initiative directly contributes to reducing our carbon footprint by integrating more renewable energy into our energy mix.
It is part of our whole strategy of progressive and concrete decarbonisation of our operations, site by site, within the Somater Group.
We have a clear objective: to make our industrial operations more energy-efficient, more responsible and more sustainable.
A concrete step in Somater’s commitment towards a lower-carbon industry.
